The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, financial reporting, financial planning, budgeting, all aspects of the asset/liability model, branch profitability, and product profitability. The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure all reporting requirements are accurate, complete, and timely to help mitigate risks and build credibility within the organization. Our candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience as well as a CPA preferred but not required. Minimum of three to five years of similar or related experience required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities: Develops financial models and projections, manages budgets, tracks allocated funds compared with actual expenditures, and makes recommendations for adjustments. Creates reports for a variety of profitability analysis, projects ROI, product margins, and other financial models and evaluations that supports decision making of key stakeholders and Senior Management. Assists with the administration and operation of the credit union's asset/liability management and liquidity management practices. Maintains the organizations funds transfer pricing model; performs analysis that supports pricing and capital allocation decisions. Analyzes market conditions and trends for opportunities and makes recommendations to improve financial results. Assist in the management of the investment portfolio including purchase, sales, and strategy analysis and recommendations.
